Migraine & Menopause
Migraines often become more frequent and more severe in the time leading up to the menopause. This is due to fluctuating hormonal levels which can act as a trigger. In our latest Expert Opinion article, Dr Krista Farrell, Consultant Neurologist, the West Hertfordshire NHS Trust and the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, looks at migraine triggers, ways to manage migraine and considers the impact of the most up to date treatments.
